One last party as a SINGLE GIRL!!

Sunday was Amanda's last shower before the big day! Mom and Nana made the main appetizers of yummy chicken satay and tai meatballs along with veggie cups, artichoke dip, and punch with fruit floating! It was fabulous. Traci made a tasty crab dip and a bruschetta with crustinis! I put together a mostly successful jello poke cake with strawberries. I now know that if I was to roll the strawberries in flour before adding them to the cake batter, they would not have sunk to the bottom! Oh well... tasty none the less!! The count down in nearing an end Manny!! We are so excited for you and Chuck!!

These are the three little ones who pretty much ran the show at the shower. Okay, who am I kidding, the little angel on the right told the other two what to do and so on. Haha! It's funny how everyone in the room is constantly looking to see what Kali is doing. So, the role call goes like this from left to right: Nina and Nicole (Traci's stepdaughters) and Kali. The colors in their shirts look so cute together in this picture!

Grandma always puts out Kali's basket of toys when we come over. Kali latched on to this doggy and wouldn't let go. I kept overhearing her say, "Hi doggy" and giving him kisses. She is such a sweet little girl!

As always at Grandma and Papa Coldwell's Kali had to go out and hand feed the dogs. The great thing about having big little cousins is that they will take her out to the dogs and give Mommy a break. Kali was in HEAVEN!!

Don't worry, I am not showing a picture of every present Amanda opened! Here is the door mat that Mom picked out of her.. it wasn't on the registry but still SOOOO Amanda as mom put it! we love you Mommy!!

Kali could not get enough of Nina! This is good in many ways, but mostly because Nina and Kali will be sharing the job of flower girl since Kali is still so young. Here is Kali going in for her trademark smooch on the lips. When she wants a kiss there is no stopping this girl!!

Here is Nana Coby, Nana Foley, Chuck's mom Judy, and Traci all on the couch watching Manny open presents. We made Nana Coby stay in her chair because her arthritis was flaring up in her knee. She took it easy and was feeling good later on in the day. We love you Nana!
