Christmas Night with the Foleys!

We hosted a dinner for anyone that didn't have plans. Nana and Papa came along with Uncle Ray, Aunt Tisha, and cousins Kaelyn and Joseph. Kali loves to play with her cousins. Little Joe is growing like a weed too... he is bigger at 7 months than Kali is at nearly 16 months!! Just wait till he is up and running around!! :-)

Merry Christmas!!

Christmas was a very long day!! Kali was up by 8am and then we had to keep her away from the presents until 2:15 when Kimberly and Nathan finally got home from their mom's. By that time Kali was very ready for a nap but still had a ball opening presents. The mess was crazy but I guess we can look at it that they had a good Christmas!!

Cutest Jailbird Ever!!

Now that Miss Kali Ruth is fully mobile, we have to block off the stairs. I caught this cute picture of her whining through the "bars", wanting to play with her kitty at the top of the steps. I almost moved the chairs to let her go up after seeing this little face!! This was on Christmas morning while we waited for Kimberly and Nathan to get home from their mom's house. Kali also discovered the bookshelf that Papa made for her... she thought it was a new chair!!

Christmas Eve with the Foley's!

Every year someone hosts a little get together after Christmas Eve Service. At this get together we do White Elephant gifts, eat good food, and watch National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Since Mike and I have been married it has never changed. On top of good food we have good company. We sit around and laugh... a lot! As you can see Papa pulled out his "old man" glasses for a photo-op! It was a good time and something we all look forward to every single year!!

Let it Snow!!

Kali couldn't understand why she could see her daddy but couldn't go out and be with him. She was at the side light windows yelling DADA!! As you can see Daddy was shoveling the sidewalk so that when Kimberly and Nathan got home they wouldn't slip around. Kali can't stand to be away from her Daddy... so cute!!

Cookies!!

We made Christmas cookies the other night and it was so much fun! I have never been successful at getting the cookies from my floured surface to the oven while maintaining their shape. Well... this time, with the help of Nana... it was a success! Kali was partial to the sprinkles and Kimberly and Nathan were all about calling dibs on the cookie cutters! The picture of them isn't very good because they kept hiding from the camera... silly kids! Anyhow, they turned out great and tasted almost like short bread!! Yummy yummy!!

Escape from the tub...

After bath time this morning Miss Kali took off in her robe to chase Coco down the hall. She kept calling for him and giggling when he showed his face. She loves her Coco-Baby!!

Go Hawks or Tigers??

We had a get together the weekend before this picture was taken for the KU/MU football game. Sadly, KU lost and the Tigers went on to play OU. Anyhow, you can see that she is wearing a MU shirt, for Daddy's sake! What Daddy didn't know was that she had a very cute KU long sleeved shirt underneath so that she could stay true to her Jayhawks! :-)

Hello???

Kali loves to play with anything that resembles a phone. She picks it up and very clearly says "Hello". It's so cute and she is so serious about her conversations. She will walk in circles around the coffee table or up and down the hall jabbering on her little plastic phone. The one in the picture is from her little play kitchen. We think that she is immitating Mike because he wanders when he talks on the phone. Ah, the things they pick up!! :-)

It's so clear to me now...

Not sure if anyone noticed but the last few pictures I posted are teeny-tiny! That's because I have been saving all of my pictures to my snapfish account and then transferring them to our blog... the big pictures were saved directly to my computer and then placed on the blog! Now that I figured it out, the rest of our postings will be good sized! To test my theory I am attaching an out of place picture! Here is our sweet little dog Coco shortly after his surgery. He's happy, healthy, and quite plump now!

Birthday Party Time!

Cousin Kaelyn turned 4 last week so we all got together and celebrated. Uncle Ray and Tisha made yummy chili and we ate cake until we couldn't eat anymore. Kali, Kimberly, and Nathan really liked playing with Kaelyn and her toys! Thanks for inviting us to your party Miss Kaelyn!!

That's what I call BEDHEAD!!

Kali woke up from her nap and this is what we saw!! Her hair is pretty thick in the "mow-hawk" region as I call it from her rolling days. I promise we did nothing to shape this "DO"!! Mike thinks she looks like a British soccer player!! :-)

Nathan and Kali

Kali loves her big brother Nathan and they LOVE to act silly together! Here Nathan is showing Kali how to hike up her pants over her belly. I think we all thought it was more silly than Kali did!!

As the weather changes....

We usually have to combat chapped lips with Mr. Nathan!! Well.... Nathan's look good right now... but Miss Kali insists on sticking her tongue out and twirlling over her lower right lip onto her chin. Too bad her and Nathan couldn't be twins this time around!!

Kali is so silly!!

The other day Kali found the little binky that she took for maybe two weeks out of her life back in the very beginning... as you can see it is very small and she thinks that it is soooo funny! I believe that she has picked up on the Foley Sense of Humor and she sure does know it! :-) She kept curling up into a ball on the floor and laughing!

Kali meets our backyard neighbor!

Kimberly and Nathan noticed that Treble, the horse in the pasture behind us, was at the fence. We quickly grabbed some apples, the camera, and little Kali. She squealed when she touched his nose!! It was sooo cute!

Halloween!!

Kimberly and Nathan went to their mom's and so me and Mike and Kali were left to pass out candy. Miss Kali got a visit from her cousins Joseph and Kaelyn... okay and her aunt and uncle were there too. Kali also got to visit her cousin Cherie and her husband George. I hope to have a copy of Kali in her costume from Cherie to post... Kali wasn't much for her costume that day. Just to let you know... she was a duck!!
