Papa Foley and Uncle Ray showed up around 4:30 to work on the deck. As you can see Daddy is "supervising", he says it's
because Papa won't let him use the power tools! :-)
While the guys started on
their work we played outside. Kali insisted on driving up to her pool.
It was hard to get her to step into the pool but once she was in and felt how warm it was she was very willing to walk around and get her pants wet. She wanted to make sure it was good for
JoJo and
Kaelyn when they came over later.
After checking out the pool Kali decided she needed some of my water to cool off! She is drinking from big cups whenever she can these days. She does such a good job!
After dinner all of the kids got in the pool. We filled it up around 9am today so by the time we got in at 6pm it was like bath water. Kali and
Kaelyn were first to get in. The girls chose
their sides! :0)
We have had this pool 2 weeks and this moment was the first time Kali had ever sat in it. She LOVED IT!!
Nathan came home early from his mom's house and when he did it was right into the pool! Look at the smile on his face. The temperature at 7pm was till 92 degrees!
I didn't capture it very well but Joseph kept kicking his legs in enjoyment. The water was JUST RIGHT!
Anyone buying the mean face? I think that
Kaelyn threw a toy at Nathan shortly after I took this picture of "Tough Guy"!
As much as this was more for Nathan's enjoyment, Kali actually was laughing when he dumped water on her head. Stranger things have happened I guess.
Kali looks like a dog stuck in the rain here... too cute!!
It's blurry and Mike hates this picture because of his "hillbilly cut
sleeved shirt" but it's all about Kalin and her arms waving through the air. She was throwing in the towel, so to speak. She is running from the pool to her daddy and yelling... done.. done. She played so hard and just wanted some milk and to go to sleep.
